Ukraina og Zelensky anklager Russland for å ha gjennomført et droneangrep mot atomkraftverket i Tsjernobyl. Russland avviser anklagene og svarer at det tvert i mot er Ukraina selv som har gjennomført angrepet som en form for falsk flagg. I følge det russiske utenriksdepartementet forsøker Zelensky regimet å sabortere Trumps fredsinitativ og Moskva anklager Ukraina for å forsøke å blande NATO dypere inn i krigen.

Imidlertid er det få av Volodomyr Zelensky`s følgere på X som «kjøper» hans anklager om at Russland stod bak angrepet. Trump tilhengeren Beau Slay skriver:  «You sure you didn’t do that to yourself? There’s no reason for Russia to make a strike when they are talking about ending the war and if Russia wanted to take out Chernobyl they would have done it already. Seems odd don’t you think?» Profilen Gabe skriver: «Another false flag to disrupt the negotiations. Expect more of this to happen as the Kiev regime struggles to stay in power.» Profilen Joshua skriver: «False flag, you are trying to kill off the Ukrainian youth and Ukraine’s future, and then drag the west into it. We know your peoples tricks. Hold an election now.» Doc Brown slår fast: «We all know it wasn’t the Russians. It was a false flag operation! @POTUS knows this also!». Etter flere år med løgner og bløff fra Zelensky regimet er det svært mange som ikke fester lit til hva som kommer av påstander fra Ukraina.
